Rock salt water for cleansing

Feet in bucketDipping our feet in a bucket of rock salt water for 20 to 25 minutes is an excellent way of cleansing our body of toxins. In addition, the practice also effectively cleanses our energy body which in turns calms our emotional and mental body. This practice is recommended by Vastu Shastra masters and can be viewed as a spiritual practice. Any practice that calms our mind and emotions is a spiritual practice.

Here are the steps:

  1. Get a bucket which is big enough to enable you to place both of your feet into it;
  2. Put in 2 tablespoons of rock salt. This can be obtained cheaply from most supermarkets;
  3. Fill up with enough warm water to cover at least your ankles;
  4. Place both feet into the bucket and keep both feet apart;
  5. Chant/sing your favourite prayer or mantra;
  6. Do this for at least 20 minutes.
  7. After the practice, empty the bucket into the toilet bowl and wash the bucket with clean water.

That’s it. Its simple but very effective.
