We are our experiences

Initially, reading spiritual books will be helpful because they help to change us and remove certain beliefs and conditioning. As we grow, reading books will only work as a motivation to practice our Yoga techniques or any other practices which we are doing. At this point, we need to let go of our attachment to our books and spend more time practicing. We need to be willing to read books that may challenge our current beliefs and conditioning. I would recommend books by Osho. If you are Buddhist, read a book by Osho on Buddhism. His book will shake you.
