Covid19 is Gods way of Choosing those to be with Him???

Many has argued that Covid19 is God’s way of choosing those whom He wants to be with him. So we should not be afraid of catching it. Some even go so far as to argue that we should even consciously try to contract it!

There is one big hole in this argument. It must be based on the premise that God is separate from us. But all the Enlightened Masters taught that we are NOT separate from God. All religions teach that God is omnipresent. That means God is within everyone and everything.

Many wants to hold on to the view that God is a separate being. This is the only way we can understand it because of our limited minds. When we were young, our parents solved all our problems. We were free from worry because our parents were all powerful and could solve all our problems. But as we grew older, we realised that are parents are not that powerful after all. So we seek to replace our reliance on our parents with God. We want God to take over the role of our parents and so, we choose to see God as separate from us.

God is NOT separate from us. That is why God can hear all of our thoughts and prayer. If we meditate and practice, we will hear God too. Not in words but intuitively. Some describe it as ‘gut feel’. Our wisdom and insights comes from God although it may seem that they are our own thoughts.

The most important thing to remember is that God or the Divine is within all of us. We do not need to go through anybody else to communicate with the Divine. It is important to trust our own abilities and not blindly accept what others say no matter how well respected they are or how wise they seem. Even the Buddha told his disciples to reject the things he said that did not make sense to them. Nothing should be allowed to overwrite our own common sense.
