This will depend on each participant. Some participants experience visions and feelings in their chakras during the seminars itself. These participants must have practiced Kriya Yoga before in their previous life and are just ready to continue their practice in the current life. Some may only experience them after a few months of practice. Nevertheless, in Kriya Yoga, our emphasis is on spiritual evolution. In other words, the development of wisdom and the strengthening of our awareness and mental faculties are more important than visions or other experiences. Having said this, many found that Kriya Yoga practices helps them to become more energetic and healthy. Paramhansa Yogananda said that the practice of pranayama fills our bodies with so much electricity that harmful viruses and bacteria cannot affect us.
