Never be Sick Again

‘Never be sick again’, this is the book authored by Raymond Francis. In the book, he shared his story about how modern medicine could not diagnose his illness, and the tests carried out and medications prescribed only made matters worse until the point where his liver failed and he was at death’s door. The doctors were doubtful that he would survive. He was 47 years old at the time.

Fortunately, his brother passed him the book ‘Anatomy of an illness’ by Norman Cousins. Based on the book, he used nutrition to reverse his condition. His recovery greatly surprised his doctor. He did further research and went on to gain perfect health. He is now in his seventies and only had a cold once; and with a very good reason for it.

The use of nutrition to cure illnesses is not new. It is just not promoted by the medical profession, probably due to financial reasons as cancer is a billion dollar a day industry. Raymond wrote, “More than a quarter century ago, medical pioneers like Dr. Carl Pfeiffer were able to use this concept to cure many cases of “incurable” schizophrenia by giving patients extra vitamins and minerals (above and beyond what was available through a regular diet). With their nutritional needs being met, Pfeiffer’s schizophrenic patients were able to return to a completely normal life. Such nutrient deficiencies are a major cause of the many mental and behavioural problems in our society”.

Raymond did not stop at helping himself. He gave up his very successful consulting business to share this wonderful knowledge about healing with others. What he discovered is very simple. All diseases, including mental illnesses, can be traced back to only two causes: The cells are not getting sufficient nutrients and toxic assaults in the body. That’s it.

This can be proven by the story of the Hunza people. Raymond wrote, “In a remote valley of the Himalayas, in what is now north eastern Pakistan, live the people of Hunza, who were renowned for their near-perfect health, robust energy and extraordinary longevity. Though they lived under what we would consider primitive conditions, they regularly lived into their hundreds, and often lived to be 120 to 140 years old. Their culture was not plagued with cancer, heart disease, ulcers, diabetes, allergies, kidney and liver disease, arthritis, asthma, hypoglycemia, mental disorders, colds, flu, tooth decay or any of the other diseases so common in our society. Nor did they suffer from depression; several researchers described them as, ‘the happiest people in the world’. The Hunzas had clear minds, high intelligence, excellent memories, and enormous physical strength and stamina”.  However, when modern foods were introduced, their health began to deteriorate within a short period of just 6 months!

Raymond highlighted that currently approximately 50 percent of all men and 40 percent of all women develop cancer in their lifetime. However, in 1900 cancer affected only 3 percent of the U.S. population. This is why the medical industry is thriving but humanity is suffering. In fact, efforts are made to suppress the cure to cancer. Raymond wrote, “Modern  medicine’s efforts to protect money and jobs were vividly described and documented in the 2000 book by former New York State Legislator, Daniel Haley, Politics in Healing: The Suppression and Manipulation of American Medicine. Haley points out that in the twentieth century several inexpensive and highly effective cures for cancer were introduced in American medicine. The developers of these cures, well-meaning people, were naive and believed that the world would welcome a cancer cure. What these people—among others, Harry Hoxey, William Frederick Koch, Royal Raymond Rife and Dr. Andrew Ivy—all failed to understand is that someone who threatens the survival of a prospering and growing industry with an inexpensive cure will not be welcomed. Proven and effective cancer cures were repudiated and suppressed by the American Medical Association (AMA) and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Discoverers of these cures were isolated, harassed, persecuted, prosecuted, financially ruined and destroyed, and their treatments essentially have been lost. Some events described in Haley’s book are bizarre and are hard to believe, yet they are documented by evidence presented at jury trials and recorded in court records. The FDA, AMA, the National Cancer Institute, and the American Cancer Society still continue to suppress cancer cures, such as that developed by Dr. Stanislaw Burzynski; his office has been raided by FDA agents and U.S. Marshals, he has been persecuted relentlessly, and his medical license is on a ten-year probation during which time he is not allowed to see new patients. These actions prevent public access to treatments and intimidate other unorthodox physicians”.

This is why we all need to take responsibility for our own health and make the effort to learn as much as possible about what really works. The information is Raymond’s book is such knowledge. In his book, Raymond shared many fascinating stories of people he helped where modern medicine could not. I encourage you to download and read the book. The link can be found in our e-books page.
